Raja Shabir Khan is the winner of 60th National Film Awards, India. He won three awards Two Gold and One Silver) for his film ‘Shepherds of Paradise” in the category of best non-feature film and best cinematography. After completing his studies in Political Science and History from Kashmir University, Raja Shabir Khan was accepted into Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Calcutta SRFTI) in 2003.While in school he directed and wrote a short film called, “Pagla Baba” which won the Bronze Remi Award for short fiction film in the World Film Fest 2007 in Houston, Texas. His final project short film, “Banafshe” was screened at Osian’s Film Festival in New Delhi.After graduating from the film school, Raja Shabir made two documentary films. His first documentary film “Angels of Troubled Paradise” won the special jury mention award in 3rd Siliguri International Short & Documentary Film Festival and was telecast on NHK, Japan.“Shepherds of Paradise” is his second documentary film.Presently Raja is working on his third documentary film “Delhi – Fear and Freedom” for NHK, Japan. He has also worked for Channel-4, UK for a news report on Kashmir.

「羊飼いの旅路」で、ナショナル・ フィルム・ アワードの最優秀短編映画賞と最優秀撮影賞を受賞。1作目のドキュメンタリー映画「紛争地帯に生きる」は NHK によって日本でテレビ放送された。現在、NHK と共に3作目のドキュメンタリー映画を撮影中。
